The Branding Iron Ranch is composed of 26,500 acres with the water rights for 3,499 acres. The upper irrigated land consists of a picturesque series of riparian meadows linked together along Indian and Bully Creeks. These native meadows, flood irrigated with free water, grow on rich alluvial soils that produce quality hay and pasture, attracting wildlife from the vast rangelands in every direction.

This is an honest traditional western cattle ranch with an excellent balance of public lands grazing on approximately 140,000 acres, productive irrigated hay fields and pasture, all complimented by sheltered wintering and calving areas. The owner has installed 8 new center pivot irrigation systems supplied by wells. There are more than 20 miles of year-around creeks and streams plus two and a quarter miles of the Malheur River on the ranch private lands for fishing. The ranch has two large reservoirs also good for fishing and capable of storing 1,556 acre feet of water for irrigation. There are also two bass ponds on the property near the headquarters. The expansive recreational opportunities that come with the ranch include land owner hunting preference tags for 7 elk, 7 deer, and 7 antelope.
